Host and Participant systems must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Network connection to the Unyte Meeting system through HTTP and HTTPS
- Connection speed of 128 kbps or higher is required
- Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Server2003 System
- Internet Explorer 6, Netscape 7.0, Firefox 1.0 - or higher browser versions
- *Mac OS X with Firefox or Apple Safari 1.1
- *Linux, Unix, or Solaris with Netscape 7.0+ or Mozilla 1.0+
- Macromedia Flash 8.0 or higher
- Cookies and Scripting Enabled
In addition, a small ActiveX component is required to share applications from your desktop. If the component is not present on your system, you will be prompted to download. If your system security settings prevent you from downloading and installing ActiveX components, you can obtain the component by downloading and installing the Options Kit.
Based on your browser configuration, Sun's Java Virtual Machine (JVM) may be required to view shared applications.
Computer speakers or headphones are needed on all systems for Audiocasting.
A Webcam is required on the Host system for Videocasting.
Document Publishing
No downloads or plug-ins are required for presentations limited to Document Publishing. Only the basic system requirements must be met by Hosts and Participants.
Application & Desktop Sharing
To share applications or desktops the sharing system must meet the following requirements in addition to the basic system requirements:
- Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP/Server2003 System with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
- Ability to run ActiveX sharing controls or pre-install sharing components
- Network connection speed of 128kbps or faster required
